Wesley Heights Residence

With a distinctly modern sensibility and an exceptional collection of art and antiques gathered through a lifetime of travel, the clients envisioned a home that would place their story at the forefront. The architecture was tasked with providing a calm, intentional backdrop—one that would elevate their collection without competing with it.

Located in the Wesley Heights neighborhood, this new construction residence presents a clean, restrained exterior that gives little indication of the vibrant and expressive interior beyond. Inspired by the clarity of a museum, the home is defined by simple forms, white surfaces, and carefully controlled natural light, allowing color, texture, and personal narrative to emerge from within.

Interior spaces were designed to unfold gradually, with open layouts, long sightlines, and moments of pause that encourage discovery. Neutral architectural elements recede, creating space for curated artwork and collected objects to take prominence throughout the home.

The result is a residence that balances restraint and expression—a modern architectural framework that quietly supports the clients’ life of travel, culture, and collection, allowing the home itself to function as a living gallery.
