Spring valley

Spring Valley Residence

This Spring Valley renovation was driven by a desire to create a more open, connected first floor that better supports everyday family life. The client envisioned a home where spaces flow visually and functionally—allowing her to remain connected to her children while cooking, entertaining, or moving throughout the house.

The first floor was carefully opened to improve sightlines and visual connectivity, creating a light-filled environment that feels both expansive and intuitive. The design embraces a mid-century–inspired aesthetic, layered with a playful and confident use of color. Deep walnut wood grounds the space, while vibrant green tile introduces moments of energy and delight.

Balancing refinement with warmth, the home feels elevated yet approachable—sophisticated without being precious. The result is a residence that supports connection and movement while reflecting the client’s joyful, design-forward personality, proving that family-focused homes can be both highly functional and full of character.
